Luidji
● SOLD OUT
Luidji's debut album, "Tristesse Business Season 1," tells the story of a guy who hits rock bottom but rises again. However, this album is just the culmination of a long and winding artistic journey.
Luidji first started gaining attention in the mid-2010s as part of the collective La Capsule, which included other up-and-coming artists like Dinos and Beeby. He also appeared on the popular rap battle series, Rap Contenders.
After signing with Wagram, Luidji released two EPs, "Station 1999" and "Mécanique des Fluides," but then went silent for four years. During this time, he struggled with artistic and personal challenges, feeling like he was drowning.
However, this period of uncertainty ultimately led Luidji to found his own evolving playlist and label, Foufoune Palace Bonjour, which is now signed with Universal. This helped him strengthen his connections with his artistic community and gave him a renewed sense of purpose.
On "Tristesse Business Season 1," Luidji confronts his inner demons and tackles topics like failed relationships and existential angst. His goal was to finally come up for air and stay afloat.
