Events at Village Underground
Village Underground is an incredible blank canvas and multi-functional space which is available for private events and corporate hire. From globally known brands using the space for activations and events, to hit films and TV series premiere parties, truly special birthday parties, chic fashion shows, unique weddings and cooler-than-your average conferences, we’ve got over 15 years of experience working across all kinds of events with an enthusiastic and experienced team ready to bring your vision to life.
About the space
Village Underground is a 5000sqft space in a former Victorian warehouse in the heart of Shoreditch. With original brickwork from the 19th century vaults, a huge void in the main atrium and ten metre high, glass panelled ceilings, it’s a beautiful warehouse ready to be transformed. It has a standing capacity of 700 and a seated capacity of 250.
Functioning as a music and clubbing venue for part of the week, we’re also better equipped than most to make your event a serious party, with incredible sound systems and lighting rigs already in situ.
Your next favourite artist will also thank you for booking with us, too. Because, by putting on an event with us, you’re directly supporting the next generation of musicians and artists who play in Village Underground. All of the profits from our events power our grassroots music programme, making being an independent venue possible, in an increasingly difficult landscape.
We’re in the heart of Shoreditch and couldn’t be better connected to wider London via Liverpool Street, Old Street and several major bus routes.

We also look after EartH in Dalston. This completely unique three-in-one space set in the former Art Deco Savoy Cinema has a mind-blowingly grand theatre, a large hall area, and a smaller bar space, all available for hire. Contact the team who can show you all of the options.
