Pizza 🤝 wrestling. How else would you celebrate the launch of a new pizza? 

To celebrate the launch of their Ultimate Chicken Mexican pizza Dominos transformed Village Underground into a Mexican wrestling arena. Performed by east London legends – and the UK’s premiere purveyors of the Lucha Libre style of Mexican Wrestling – Lucha Britannia hit the ring with the force of hot dough into a sizzling pizza oven. Dazzling guests with their high-flying moves, big body slams and characters inspired by the pizzas themselves. And of course, there were plenty of pizza slices to sample, too.

This event also led to the return of Lucha Britannia’s weird and wonderful cabaret-come-wrestling night, taking up a monthly residency at the venue after their 3 year hiatus. 

Truly the kind of weird and wonderful crossover event that we love to host at VU. More like this, please!
